The weather has been terrific the past few weeks and we've been busy getting things cleaned-up and in shape for the busy riding season.
This weekend we hauled out all of the manure in preperation for Spring tillage and planting.
We reconditioned both of the Outdoor Riding Arena's. Here are a few pictures.
Notes:
1) Outdoor Arena #1 - This arena has a grass center. It is open for use but if the ground is soft after rains please avoid riding in the center and damaging the grass. Instead just use the outside circle or use Outdoor Arena #2
2) Outdoor Arena #2 - This arena is open for riding but there are still a lot of small rocks which could cause stone bruising so please BE CAREFUL. There is a rock bucket and fork outside. We are requesting that each time you ride if you could take 5 minutes and pick up a few rocks so that we can get the arena safer quickly. Once we have the rocks picked up we will bring in some additional sand. Thanks in advance for your help!

The past few weeks have been very busy around the farm preparing for the Winter deep-freeze.
We have done some surface reconditioning within the indoor arena. Last week we added several loads of fine sand. The final loads will be coming in next week.
So far we have heard many positive comments about the improvements.
